Founded in the year 1946 at Poonoor, a remote village in the Kozhikode district, Kerala, Deseeya Ayurvedic Pharmacy has been in the forefront in spreading the message of ayurveda in India and abroad.
MANUFACTURING DIVISION
Deseeya Ayurvedic Pharmacy is today a leading ayurvedic institution with a full-fledged manufacturing division functioning at Poonoor where the most modern technology is used for the processing of medicines. This division produces more than 400 traditional products and about 30 patent products in accordance with the principles of Ayurveda as laid down in the ancient scriptures. The institution enjoys a wide reputation for the quality of its products.
EXPORT SECTION
As a part of the manufacturing division, a separate export section in functioning exclusively to facilitate the export of selected Ayurvedic drugs to various foreign countries where export packaging methods of international standards are employed.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
The quality control and Research and Development wing ensures the standards of the raw materials used, different stages of manufacturing and the finished products.
MARKETING
The institution has a wide marketing network with the marketing division in Calicut, branches in different parts of Kerala and neighboring States and 300 agencies and stockists.
SOCIAL COMMITMENT
More than 200 families find their means of life directly due to the institution. It is associated with the various charitable activities in bringing succor to the weaker section of the society.
